Argyll Aesthetics Privacy, Dignity & Confidentiality Policy Argyll Aesthetics is committed to protecting client privacy, dignity & confidentiality as set out in Caldicott Guidelines 1997/Data protection Act 2018/GDPR. Client's personal information will not be shared or passed on without client's consent first & only if in client's best interest, permission from client is gained for a referral to GP/Specialist mental health service. All communication with client will be given clearly,be given repectfully, be given in a sensitive manner so as not to offend client and given in a way that client understands fully all that has been discussed, the practitioner will listen to the client's concerns and include the client in any decision making. Argyll Aesthetics reserves the right to decline treatments if the practitioner feels after assessment that the client's requests are outwith the scope of practice or if the practitioner would benefit from referral to GP/Dermatologist/Mental health specialist. As a professional service is offered Argyll Aesthetics must ensure that information gathered is relevant, accurate and up to date, full consultation to be completed with relevant consents signed prior to each treatment if client returning for repeat treatments ( not including review appointments). All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure the client's Privacy & Dignity whilst in the clinic and treatment room. Clients payment details are not kept on file. Any client information given will be securely stored in locked storage in clinic in accordance with data privacy laws.
